Luke Pottinger & Shane Minehane: "In August 2025, we travelled to Jericho, Bethlehem and Jerusalem in the West Bank despite the ongoing regional conflicts.

We were blown away by the kindness and the hospitality of the Palestinian people towards us.

While the Israeli government is still committing a genocide in Gaza, the atrocities carried out in the West Bank are often forgotten.

We had the pleasure of visiting the Lajee Centre in Bethlehem which provides medical support, education, sporting activities and food production and aid to over 1800 displaced Palestinian refugees living in the Aida Refugee Camp.

The Aida Refugee Camp faces constant raids by the IOF, electricity being cut off in the winter, water being cut off in the summer and tear gas being thrown into the children's playground to only touch the surface.

We have set a fundraising goal of €10,000 with all proceeds from this event going directly to the Lajee Centre.

This is thanks to Cyprus Avenue providing the venue for free, and all the DJs on the night providing the entertainment for free.
