
'Stories & Songs' is a series of events across Ireland featuring acoustic singer-songwriter performances. The first events took place in Dublin at The International Bar, and now, for the first time, the initiative is coming to Cork.
The event is donation-based (to be split between the featured artists) and there will also be an open mic between and after the performances to provide a space for anyone who wants to share their own songs.

GRÁINNEOG
Gráinneog is an Irish Singer/Songwriter based in Cork City. Drawing inspiration from renowned artists such as Nick Drake and Adrianne Lenker, and more local talents such as Joshua Burnside and Rua Rí, he brings his audience in with his cozy sound, covering topics of friendship, family, and grief.
EVE CLAGUE
From Clonakilty, West Cork, Ireland, Eve is a singer-songwriter who draws on the rich variety of music she grew up with in her home and community. Her style of songwriting is highly personal and direct.
Eve’s music crosses genres very naturally in songs which center around her acoustic guitar and deeply honest vocal style.
Eve has developed a self taught fingerpicking style of guitar with folk/jazz elements and hints of Joni Mitchell and Nick Cave vibes. She has a powerful voice that captures the elements of the 60s.She writes songs of love, friendship and heartbreak and other issues dealing with emotions and mental health.
PATRICK D'ALTON
Patrick D’Alton is originally from West Waterford, living in Cork since enrolling in the BMus degree at the Cork school of music, graduating in 2014, later an MA in Music Therapy from the university of Limerick. Patrick's music is influenced by the Beatles, King Crimson and various styles from folk to jazz. He is joined in his band the Imperfectionists, by Jack Malone, Olly Elsholtz and Cathal Dennehy.
