The WU (formerly known as Weather Underground) are an alternative three piece band from Dublin, Ireland.

The band seeks to blend 60s influences such as The Who and The Kinks, with indie/alternative music such as The Strokes, The Libertines, The Smiths and Miles Kane.

With latest single "Off My Head", the three Dubliners have began to make their mark on the Irish alternative scene, making sure they don't take life too seriously along the way.
