A special charity screening of the acclaimed historical drama Palestine 36, hosted by Green Party Cllr Oliver Moran

This event aims to raise both funds and awareness for civilians affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with all proceeds going directly to the ActionAid Ireland Gaza Appeal.

Palestine ‘36 captures a defining era in Palestine’s history! Set in 1936 as the British Empire tightens its grip on Palestine, Yusuf is caught between his village home and his work inJerusalem. Amidst an anti-colonial revolt, all sides converge in a decisive moment for the entireregion.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Annemarie Jacir and shortlisted for an Academy Award, Palestine ‘36 stars Hiam Abbas, Yasmine Al Massri, Jeremy Irons, Robert Aramayo, SalehBakri, and Liam Cunningham, whose powerful performances bring this important story to life.

This screening will contribute much needed funds to ActionAid Ireland's Gaza Appeal and continue to highlight the plight of Palestinians.
