Watch as these amazing bands battle it out for the top prize of €1000 and exhibit raw talent, immense stage presence and song writing excellence.

LICKING BATTERIES, BAZOOKAFISH, DOLLMEN, FIERINJ

LICKING BATTERIES is a completely improvised free noise collective based in Cork and Limerick, formed on stage in Freds when they threw a set together last minute. The music they create is a special and unique sonic experience that has to be witnessed to be understood.

BAZOOKAFISH is a 5-Piece Alternative Rock Band based in Cork City that combine beautiful melodies with punchy riffs and explosive drums. Their sound offers a wide array of styles and influences that audiences are bound to latch onto. From Midwest Emo to Post Rock, Pop Rock to Blues and Prog, Bazookafish always keeps the crowd engaged and waiting to see what’s next.

DOLLMEN is a four piece punk band from Kildare but mostly gigging in Dublin. They take inspiration from the likes of Idles, Lambrini Girls, and Teen Mortgage. Their music is fast paced, frenetic and to the point.

FIERINJ is a 4 piece indie sleeze band from Clare, with plenty of experience playing in their own local scene, they are excited to show Cork what they're made of.
