At Levis, all ticket sales go directly to the performing artist. As a small grassroots venue, rising costs make it harder to keep live shows going. This small contribution goes towards essential expenses so we can continue supporting independent, new, and emerging artists. Thank you for coming out and supporting live music.

BIO

THE ALTERED HOURS

Since their formation in 2010, The Altered Hours have evolved into one of Ireland’s most

compelling bands, known for their immersive sound and magnetic live presence. Over the

course of three albums, three EPs, and a stream of digital releases on independent labels like A

Recordings, Penske Recordings, Art For Blind, and Pizza Pizza Records, the group has

released a body of work that is as emotionally charged as it is sonically expansive. A body of

work that oscillates between garage rock, psychedelia, shoegaze textures, driving rhythms and

slow-burning melodies.

Releases such as their Sweet Jelly Roll EP (2013), recorded in Anton Newcombe’s Berlin

studio; their debut full-length In Heat Not Sorry (2016), recorded in the iconic Funkhaus; and

their self-produced Convertible (2018) have led the group to embark on multiple tours of Europe

& the U.K, playing shows in venues ranging from churches and club venues to DIY basement

gigs. They’ve supported legendary acts like The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Pop Group

and Fontaines DC and have been joined onstage by members of Spacemen 3, affirming their

place in the lineage of boundary-pushing guitar music.

In 2025 The band released their third LP on Dundalk’s artist-led label Pizza Pizza Records.

Produced by Julie McLarnon, the record distills the essence of a group that has unmistakable

chemistry. Anchored in their signature distortion-soaked jangle, the album dives into direct and

soulful territory and unveils the heart of their songwriting spirit.
