On The Curb - Stevan Crnogorac

St. Peters Cork, North Main Street

Stevan Crnogorac presents his images for the first time after years of recollecting moments from the street.

He is interested in how the urban plan of a city can favour certain relationships or encounters that change from place to place, in this exhibition he presents a case study comparing Dublin and Toronto from his lenses, highlighting how intimately connected we are to urban design.

His understanding of each city, maps him around to find instants that might go unnoticed in the day to day transit, with special focus to human interactions, movement and protests.

Presenting the contrast between Toronto’s planned macro grid and Dublin’s medieval organic growth and its effects on the citizens everyday experience and ability to feel the city’s ‘pulse’.
