JQ’s Cork-based jazz quintet combines the fire of classic hard bop jazz with the ebbs and flows of Ireland’s rich musical landscape. The group’s name is also inspired by Cork’s tidal river Lee, which JQ observed for countless hours while practicing and composing new music for this group.
