A concert to celebrate the arrival of Cork Opera House’s Steinway B. The Steinway takes centre stage, gathering artists across all music genres to celebrate its arrival alongside the Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra, conducted by John O Brien. The concert intends not only to celebrate the piano’s arrival but also to signal a real commitment to our future as a renowned music house and the ambitious programming that will follow, now that this piano is in residence at Cork Opera House.

Curated by John O’Brien (Conductor) and Ciara Moroney (Pianist), the concert will feature elite Cork pianists Cormac McCarthy, Ciara Moroney and Fionnula Moynihan—along with a host of soloists across many musical genres and styles, including Jack O’Rourke, Dylan Howe (Hánt), Lucia Evans, Emma Nash, Ross Scanlon and more names to come.

Cork Opera House’s Steinway B was part funded by Music Network, its purchase would not have been possible without their support.
