Since establishing himself in 1997 with the seminal single ‘Offshore’ followed by the album ‘Far From The Maddening Crowds’ & top 5 album ‘Behind The Sun’ (2000), through to his LPs; ‘Somersault’ (2007) and 2010’s ‘Giants’, ‘Thousand Mile Stare, The Sum of Its Parts and the recent US and UK numbers one albums ‘A place You Can’t Remember’, ‘The Place You Can’t Forget’, and the 2021 release, ‘Everything We Had to Leave Behind’ - The latter of which has over 16.5 million album downloads of Spotify alone.

Nick Bracegirdle has fashioned a flawless and hit-filled album discography and come a long way since he and Bryan Adams topped the global charts with their single, ‘Don’t Give Up’.

Never one to pander to the latest vibe Chicane has worked with some eclectic artists over his twenty year plus career.

The roll-call of names he has worked with is diverse and impressive: Bryan Adams, Sir Tom Jones, Natasha Bedingfield, Adam Young, Cher, Kate Walsh, Christian Burns, Paul Aiden, Lisa Gerrard; as well as new and up and coming artists such as the Maltese singer Joseph Aquilina, and the Icelandic band Vigri. All of whom represent a strategy of not staying in one place of being pinned down.

Born in Chalfont St Giles, England, Nick Bracegirdle was very quickly acknowledged and applauded for supplying the chillout soundtrack to what some say was the greatest Ibiza period.

He is the man Armin van Buuren attributes to him wanting to DJ.

Offshore, and then Saltwater, becoming the aural backdrop to the Ibiza of sunsets and sunrises.

There are, however, two sides to Chicane, the records and the live performance. Over the last fifteen years the standard and excitement of the Chicane shows has grown to the extent that shows permeate the very essence of what Chicane is all about; people together sharing a unifying moment through music, no matter what age or culture they belong to: whether the DJ sets or the live band.

Over the past twenty-five years or so Chicane has played in every continent around the globe, as such legendary festivals Glastonbury, V Festival, and Australia’s Stereosonic.

Powering out hits such as, Offshore, Saltwater, Don't Give Up, Stoned in Love, Poppiholla, juxtaposing them with the more esoteric and loved tracks from the eight studio albums.
