The Ponderosa Piners are a queer singer-songwriter duo based in Cork, Ireland. Their music is folky, funky, and filled with catchy choruses you’ll be humming long after you hear them. The duo consists of Kimaya Joy and Ivy Favier. Kimaya Joy is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, flexibly bending borders between pop, folk, and jazz styles. Ivy Favier is a performing artist, vocal coach, and singer-songwriter, writing humorous and heartfelt songs with a certain theatrical quality. When Kimaya and Ivy met at an open mic in Cork City, creative sparks flew, and they found musical kinship in their similar songwriting styles. Thus, The Ponderosa Piners were sprouted into being!
