Rob Harley from Cork, spent his formative years in San Franisco's Bay area, while there he gained his interest in music with his focus especially in Folk and Blues.
Rob entered the Irish music scene in the nineties with a band called Clinic who gained the interest of 2fm's Dave Fanning and Hot Press with their EP "Dont Look just Listen" he then went on to play with several original/cover bands while writing his own material, in 2001 he released his album Dirty Black River which garnered rave reviews and from that formed Rob Harley and The Black River Band.
You can see Rob perform acoustically at the Gables on Saturday 26th of October, a guaranteed must see for the Cork Jazz Festival weekend.
