Shannon Basso Gaule is an Irish stand-up comedian and producer based in Carlow. He began his comedy career in New Zealand in 2019, earning the Best Newcomer award from the NZ Comedy Guild in 2020. Upon returning to Ireland, Shannon has performed nationwide, co-founded the Kilkenny Comedy Club, and serves as the resident host of Stand Up at Scraggs Alley. In 2024, he won the HA!HA! Hawkswell Comedy Award and debuted his solo show, "Lost in Translation," at the Carlow Arts Festival.
